Intramural Sports

Intramural Sports at RCMS

RCMS will be implementing an intramural model where students will be able to participate in the four traditional middle school sports throughout second semester. This means we will be competing within our school and no other games between division or district competition will be possible. The four sports are soccer, volleyball, basketball and track.

There will be tryouts for skill assessments and we will have after school practices for continual strengthening of skills. Participants will be given all the experiences with the same expectations as traditional sports seasons.

On game day, there will be a 25% seating capacity, with only 2 people per player allowed.

In order to gauge interest in each of the sports and get an idea of how many students might participate, please complete a survey by clicking the image below:

Each student should complete just one survey and submit it by December 18th. We will then determine and communicate exact dates and times for all tryouts, practices and games/meets.

In order to be eligible for sports, students must complete a sports physical. You can find the sports physical packet by clicking the image below or on our Athletics home page.
