Dear students and parents,

We look forward to meeting all of you in the upcoming 2019-2020 school year. This summer as you catch up on your video games and pool time, we want you to also read and stretch your imagination!

This year’s list of Sunshine State Young Reader’s Award books is fantastic!  The full list for 6-8th grade books can be found here: (scroll down).

Each grade level is required to read one Sunshine State book from the list. Students in our IB program will also need to read a second book listed below.

All Sunshine State books and IB books can be checked out of our school Media Center/front office, the Orange County Library system, or can be found at your local bookstore. During the summer the front office has a different schedule please call before your visit: 407-249-6430.

Aside from reading the book, when you return in August you will be taking the AR test and submitting a fun project to  show off your chosen book!  Click link below for details.
