Media Center

The Media Center is open to students on school days
Monday – Friday from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm (Wednesdays until 3:00 pm)

Our Media Center has a large and varied collection designed to meet all students’ needs. In addition, there are 20 computers which students may use for research, learning-skills development, Accelerated Reader, and the preparation of papers, and multi-media projects. Students may use the Media Center with their classes, passes during the day, during lunch, or before and after school.

Students may check out two items for up to 2 weeks. Items may be renewed. An overdue fine of $.05/day is assessed for overdue books. Damage to materials will be assessed per item.

Two Scholastic Book Fairs are held each school year. Profits from the fairs are used to buy new materials for the Media Center. We are very grateful for parent and student support of this fund-raising activity.

Media Center Learning Goal:

All users will be able to locate and evaluate needed information, develop computer-based research and writing skills, and develop a life-long love of reading for pleasure and personal development.
